It's on the Great America parking lot and literally across the street from the 49er HQ.Originally Posted by Animal Thug1539

As much as I wanted the Niners to stay in the city, I'm stoked it's going to be in Santa Clara. Closer to me.Originally Posted by NikeTalker23

But the city of SF is to blame for the Niners going to Santa Clara..
Exactly. I was at the NFC championship game and heard one guy tell his kids that it would now be an hour drive to a game so they probably won't be going as much. I'm a season ticket holder and live 4 hours away from SF. I wish it could have stayed in SF, but it does shorten my drive a little.Originally Posted by Bean Pie Slanga
A lot of Niner fans attending the games come from all over NorCal so I don't think location is a big deal. Boo hoo, you gotta make the drive from San Pablo now.
And Santa Clara has the real estate. Where could you nestle a stadium like that in SF?
Driving to the game isn't that bad but trying to get out was hell especially during the playoffs. I'm going to miss the Stick too.Originally Posted by cencal559
