Okay so far I have tried NeverWet on some snakeskin adidas superstars with these results:
  • As far as being repellent to liquids, it definitely worked
  • Did not work well on any black suede/nubuck on the shoe because the coating has a glazed look so it made the black look like grey.  I ended up just wiping this "glaze" off and weirdly enough, it still repelled liquids.
  • ^^ Similarly on black leather, the glazed look made it look grey/blue
  • No visual changes to the white parts of the shoe.
  • After the first wear, I noticed a coating had came off the shoe in certain areas, in the shape of a small circle.  However, those areas still repelled water just as well.  This makes me thing I may have put too thick of a coating on.
As of right now, I am in the process applying this to the mesh on the toebox of air max 90s.

Let me know if you want me to post pictures and updates.

Have not tried on anything else except for the mesh which I just finished and it didn't change visually. Will soon try it on the infrared part of the shoe.
