My Restored Air Jordan III retros

Ok, after long debate I decided Sneaker art was where this post belonged.  I recently had an awesome experience.  I went to play lunchtime basketball with some faculty and staff from a local college when I ran into a good friend of mine that I play ball with regularly.  This guy is an okay ball player but not super competitive and normally loafs up and down the court and spots up for three's.  At any rate he is the guy out there playing in his asics running shoes!  Anyway, yesterday I noticed he had on a pair of 2001 retro III's that were in great condition, no sole separation, cracking or anything, just some creasing and scuffs on the mid sole.  Long story short, I could not resist the opportunity to ask him if he wanted to sell them to me, I was prepared to give him up to $100 in cash!  He looked and said that one of his buddies had given them to him and he just needed some kicks to play ball in.  I told him I would love to make a trade, so I got together a couple of pairs of shoes that I was willing to trade and went over to his house.  He chose to trade the III's for a pair of gray hyperdunks, and I spent this morning restoring my new III's!!!!! Gotta love Nike Air on the back!
