cubanbee, first of all thanks for sharing... how's the tongue looking on the white/orange/blue bo's? colored at the tip right?
From a color standpoint, its interesting what's going on. Alittle background info if anyone cares.
The med balls were originally a darker color of the tannish brown, and had white straps.
Nike butchered them from the get go when they released in 2000:
-lighter tan and the straps were "pre yellowed".. Even then it was quite appealing and gave way to a "new" colorway...
I wonder if its just the photo without flash, but they may have gone back to a darker OG-like color.....
Onto the other Bo, From the getgo in 1999, one retro c/w was a bit off and the other perfect:
1990 originial vs. 1999 retro:
-retro on the right obviously... darker everything.
-the blue retro on the other hand had the right shade of grey:

and of course the colorway in question in 1998.. retro:

The new '08 retro appeared to have taken on the darker retro gray color from 1999.
Just something to throw out there for $18billion dollar nike to think about.
I'm of course still buying
but it doesn't hurt explaing somethings.
