Not optimistic about this upcoming season for footwear, especially from Nike.
Haven't really enjoyed the repetitive melted look of the past few Huarache's. I'd like to see them get back to a more technical/sporty look. The Trout was the only other model that got even a little attention, but with his disappearance from the game the shoes have seemed to follow suit. No turf, plus a really stripped down, plain, 2024 model.
The only upside from Nike Baseball last year was that I feel like they pushed out a couple pretty decent turf models. I just already have too many, unless its gonna be a mid-height turf.
Was there a Jordan retro last year? I don't even remember
I actually liked Mizzuno's offerings the best last year. I'll keep an eye on them for '25
Overall, we'll see if Nike fixed the crappy jerseys. And maybe they finally release an actual Aaron Judge model of some kind.
