This is an argument that I've heard before...and it's so weak. Saying sowould imply that he needs a heckler to perform greatly. I don't remember them mentioning any hecklers during the Lakers game, or during the last twoplayoff runs. So please let's dead this weak argument.

^exactly

its as if the lbj haters always have something to say when lebron puts up his videogame style games.... "oh it was hecklers that motivated him"...."oh he travelled"... just !@%$#$% appreciate what hes doing... hes right . we are all witnesses

idk, the wade hate is pretty thick. the heat just suck so no one really mentions wade anymore. cavs are beastin and bron haters rise to the top

i dont get haters period.... i understand people who dislike lebron or what he stands for but you CANNOT question his abilities or game and thats when i takeoffence... because i love the game of basketball, and for someone to come in and make ludicrous claims like " he only plays like that when hecklers areinvolved" are just idiots

yup. dude puts up big numbers and people are like "big whoop" because he does it on a regular basis. then he puts up great numbers and it'sbecause someone says some crap to him; then we got people complaning about it... well more power to lebron. he thrives on the pressure and he gives the fanswhat they want. i'm not complaining. i'd much rather watch lebron do his thing like this than watch kwame break down (although it was mighty

). if it wasn't for people like lebron out there to entertain then you'djust be watching some dull games. not knocking on the spurs or jazz's ability to perform, but their games are slow half court games that get boring.i'd much rather watch the suns, lakers, and warriors because they make the games more fun with their style of play. only difference with lebron is he doesit as a single player while teams do it well, as a team. pretty impressive if you ask me and nobody should hate on lebron for what he's done.

I dont ever see fans in the past couple years talk smack to kobe like that.. They Know.. dude will go off in the 4th Bron is getting there..

Why can't you question his abilities? You want to sit here and tell me Lebron is a great shooter? Or a great defender? Or even a great team defender? Please don't tell me you think Lebron plays great team basketball. Lebron is one of the greatest dunkers ever too right? Lebron is amazing because he is6'8 250 and has the swagger and confidence to do a lot of great things. He sure does have flaws. This is noticed by fans who aren't blinded by theoverwhelming hype by Nike, NBA, and Sports writers. I like Lebron. He's a great player, but I'm not impressed by what he does at his age. He stillhasn't shown he has the mental conditioning to be lights out whenever.....

He still seems very insecure at times. He has times where he displays he has the ability to carry his team, but he's not consistent with it.

It is scary to look at LBJ and realize that at his age right now, he took that sorry $%@ team to the finals (sorry Cavs fans but its true). What he is doingright now is absolutely insane.

He's a great player, but I'm not impressed by what he does at his age.
honestly, what more could he do? Yeah he doesnt have a great jumper yet, but realize the dude is only 23. He also plays much better defense thana lot of people give him credit for, and this is coming from a dude who absolutely hates the Cavs. The court vision he has for someone his size is amazing andhis ability to get to the hole makes him very very dangerous. For the leagues sake, they better hope that LBJ doesn't get a money jumper because it willbe impossible to guard him if he does

When I say that I mean people act like he doesn't have the athleticism to do all the things he does. The Eastern Conference was pure garbage last year. The Pistons was the only great team they faced and that wasn't much impressive seeing how the Pistons know the right time to choke. Not taking away fromhis Game 6 performance. What is so impressive about his age when he has a 6'8 250 pound body and the speed of a guard? Who's going to stop that? Hisathleticism, court vision, etc...Very impressive. But he does have flaws.

With what lebron has done the only thing left he needs is a chip.

The man great and I love watching him play.

For every great player there is going to be at least 5000 haters. Somebody will always try to find flaws in his game. They talk about his jumper and he hitsthree 3's last night. They talk about his D and he shut down kobe the last 2 mintues of that game. They talk about him not being clutch and he does what hedid last night VS portland. His game has come around and if the cavs give him some talent he will win a chip very soon.

All this "unimpressed", "overhyped", "ref pampered" banter I see constantly on NT proves one or more things...either his ascension threatens the status of your favorite superstar, he's been killing your team, he's not on your team, or you just plain don't understand the game of basketball.
Exactly why I don't come on this forum because peoplealways have this assumption of someone else's point of view that they have brainwashed themselves to believe is fact. Overhyped? Yes! Unimpressed? Notreally. He is impressive here and there, but overall not so much. Ref pampered? Of course. Is that even arguable? All the superstars are/were. I'm goingto leave at this. Tell Lebron to learn how to shoot a basketball or learn how to correct that sloppy dribble and maybe I'll be impressed by his"skillset"

First off let's not act like it's just his size and athleticism that makes him the player he is...it's theskillset he posseses with that size and athleticism. Guys that are 6'8 and 255 aren't usually that fleet-a-foot WITH ball handling ability, WITHagility, WITH body control, WITH court vision, WITH good basketball instinct.

Why are y'all getting mad about the hype around him? He lives up to it, so there's no need for the shade. Now if he was a bust then I could see it. Allthis "unimpressed", "overhyped", "ref pampered" banter I see constantly on NT proves one or more things...either his ascensionthreatens the status of your favorite superstar, he's been killing your team, he's not on your team, or you just plain don't understand the game ofbasketball.

Now as far as Kobe goes, I can't say which one is better, because they both do it in different ways, they have different body types, demeanors, and rolesfor their team. Kobe is more intense, while Lebron is more laid back, but either way they are going to kill you.

Oh and I agree, his game isn't as complete as it is going to be yet. There is still room for improvement, namely a more consistent12-15 footer (the 3-ball is cool tho), and I think he should get a post up game ala Carmelo Anthony. Add more CONSISTENT defensive effort with those twovariables and now maybe we're talking the best with no argument.

AND

LeBron is a tremendous defender; ask Kobe.
Uhhh no he's not a tremendous defender..he's a better defender than I thought...but he's not on Kobe's level when it comes todefense...I'm sure Lebron will be a good defender once he gets more experience but as of right now Kobe is without a doubt a better 1-1 defender and teamdefender...

As far as Lebrons jumpshot...Mark Jackson made a good point during the cavs laker game he said often times in order to try and stop lebron teams will force himto be a jumpshooter but with Kobe you can't do that becuz if you force him to be a jumpshooter he will kill you everytime...

Lebron has flaws in his shooting & defense...but those are probably the two most common things younger players need to work on....Kobe wasn't a lightsout shooter at 22 like he is now...so if Lebron works at it..which I think he will..he can get there...
