Hey everyone, I need a legit check on this pair of 01 royals. I'm in the market for a pair, and found out the hard way that there are a lot of fakes out there. All help appreciated.

pretty sure widows peaks are common on the 01' release. not 100% certain though

$400 for a DEADSTOCK pair? that's what 2013's go for.. I'm not 100% certain on these, so wait for someone who is to give you their opinion.

They are legit.. Priced accordingly..$400-$450ish is fair IMO.

Negative. Sorry these are fake. Widows peaks give it away and the swooshes are wrong. The soles are actually wrong too. Pass on these.

BIG red flag. I'm currently talking to a guy on craigslist who sent me these exact pictures, claiming he's from new orleans. He did not send me the inside of the tongue, but when I asked him what the number was, he said 12821 of 27000. Seems a bit fishy to me that this set of pictures shows number 12621 of 27000.
Furthermore, I found this thread http://niketalk.com/t/579101/legit-check-on-aj-royal-1s showing the same pics again!
I'd be very careful...I know I'm not sending this guy any money (although he wants to go through paypal, which is strange because I'd be protected)
In future, if anyone ever sends you pics of shoes, use the Google Image Search tool to see if there are any duplicates on the web. Thats how I found this thread!!

I agree they are fake. The lace bag for 1s is suppose to be nice and compact and that is most certainly not.
