This morning I came across a feature on Noisey.com about Ka, a 40-year old MC from Brownsville. The article outlined the story of a man passionate about his art, and his craft, and though I can't say that I'm the biggest fan of his music, I can't deny its quality, and it made me mull over the idea of a man in his fifth decade who's a relative unknown in the rap game. Since age is such a hot button topic in hip-hop music, is this guy too old to be rapping?
Here's the link to the article (http://noisey.vice.com/blog/ka-will-not-give-up-1), and one to his website (http://brownsvilleka.com/), to give you a better idea of what he's about.
I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
