Found these overseas for less than retail, fit TTS

Everything I'm reading about the thin patent leather is extremely frustrating.
I have the 2001 retro, and even those, the patent leather is thick af.
🤦🏻‍♂️
Comparing to the past two years (cherry’s and gratitudes) there’s basically no difference in the thickness on my pair. Some people will crease em bad in one wear and others won’t have any serious creasing wearing em daily. But yeah XIs haven’t had thick PL in over two decades.

I’ve had time to sit with my pair and I sincerely believe y’all are exaggerating about the PL on the shoe. I don’t think it’s possible to tell the thickness of it simply from looking at it (Pause).

It’s a beautiful retro. If you’ve never had a pair, don’t let a bunch of over obsessed people dissuade you from enjoying them. Comparison is the thief of joy.

You can tell the thickness of the cut on the upper. We had caliper boys last December

I love these shoes. However I just remembered that I copped the gratitudes and threw them joints right back at Nike for the disgraceful patent leather.

Seeing the recent comments reminded me of that whole sh.

It’s actually not even a “obsessive” thing. I posted pics of my original dmp 11 PL vs the gratitudes, honestly it’s way more 1.4 -> 1.6.

It’s evident enough that visually the shoe looked different

Is it just me or the blue on the Jumpman on SNKRS kinda off? Could just be lighting and it wouldn't be the first time their official photos looked a bit different from what is actually produced, but I can't unsee it
