I Really want to get my Cool Grey 9's customized, i just don't know what i want to do. So I want to test the waters and see what custom ideas i can get with help.

Some basic ideas for you:
Yankees pinstripes
Make the grey silver so the sneaker is more shiny
Three musketeers cw.
These are just my ideas off the top of my head, imo the best part of customization is coming up with your own art

Yea alp is right, the best part of making a custom is coming up with the idea and later executing it. Unless you're doing it for someone it is less satisfying using someone else's ideas.
But here are some ideas anyway:
Just add subtle accents to make the shoe pop, (change the toe box colour to black for example)
Base the colourway on a sports team or hobby
Change the colourway to one that was popular on another shoe (ex south beach, undftd 4s, fire red 3s, etc)
paint the entire shoe one colour, ex all red 9s
finally check out some of jayz photoshops, im sure he has some sick 9 colourways
