I'm a big Penny fan.. but I think they should slowdown with these pointless colorways?.. if anything they should redo the original colorways of the 1s and 4s.. opinions?

the name of the game is making money...and seeing how many people, especially gay chicks(don't kno why), wit the wht/red iii's, i don't see them stopping at all

I wouldnt say "over"doing the line, I mean they are showing all us penny fans love by re-releasing his shoes but some of the colorways that were released were just not that good. OG colorways of the 1's are always a good idea, I just hope the ones releasing are the all black with blue accents

I would say they're OD'ing on the Foamposite ( (-_-) @ those pewter joints),but Penny's line as a whole...
not really.

Yea they are killing me with the random colorways......I love the line he's still my favorite player.... but foams in any color other than the OG blue is wrong...

truth.

I don't think they're overdoing the line yet, close but not yet. Its just this onslaught of Foams in random colorways

there's nothing wrong in overdoing the penny line as long as the color combinations mix and matches together. as for the original colorways,
they are and they will always carry that legit heat!!! after all, basketball fans and players of our generation will always recognize the talent and uniqueness of mr. hardaway!:P

THANKS RED

I agree, I hope Nike would retro the all black CW. I would cop in a heartbeat.

well one things for sure their capitalizing on the foams. pewter doesnt seem like a good idea unless they use different color blocking or something. but im still waiting for a white or red based colorway.

Yep, just buy what you like and not what you feel hyped in to

I don't think they have.

They have only retro'd the 3 new colorways of the II and III. Plus one of each of those releases were HOH only. And this is the first time both of those models have been retro'd.

If anything they have done the Penny line justice. It's been far too long waiting for the retro.

They did go a lil overboard on the IV with all the new colorways.

And the upcoming Ones will be the Orlando colorway and a new PHX colorway that people have been asking for.

So I think they're doing ok at the moment.

They need to retro the Black/blue/white, Black/light blue/white and  Black/red/white IV's

Not over doing it just yet...They need to OD on the gary payton line, that would make me happy

the air max penny is one of the best penny shoes, and it hasnt been over killed by nike (yet) but i hear rumors are swirling that its going to retro early next year.

with that being said, does anyone know the last time the penny 4s or the '94 Air Up Highs retroed?

To me, the line isn't being overdone. When each of the numbered Pennys retroed, they released in a decent amount of retro and og colorways. I don't think Nike has OD'ed on them.

However, Nike has released a surprising amount of Foamposite Ones. I can't complain though, because it makes financial sense to constantly release a shoe that's in demand.
