I'm not talking your favorite shoe, but what Retro was done the best?

- Quality of the shoe
- True to the original
- "Nostalgia" factor

For me:

The quality was great - held up so well. I picked up a pair when they dropped and recently picked up another DS pair on NT for $50 shipped. One of my favorite shoes in Jr. High.

What's the best Retro IYO?

I know there were complaints on the bubble size, but other than that, everything else was pretty spot-on from what I can remember.

There's been quite a few that brought back a lot of good memories so it's not just one shoe for me. The Zoom Flight 95 & the Black/red Pippen 1s were one of my grails so I copped 2 as soon as they retroed. Then you have the Air Force Max, Air Max Uptempos, Royal Penny 1 and the Flightposite to name a few.

^ Don't they have to be in an OG colorway in order for them to be...

I only expected half of the people to read, but everyone (minus the coppers) is submitting some great stuff.

I personally can't get over the smaller Air unit.

From the pics I've seen of the originals, the Royal Foamposite retro seems to be pretty spot on. I don't get into all that talk about groove depth, but Nike definitely got that one right.

i was pretty happy with:

07's royal foams
penny 2's
structure triax 91's
flightposites
carnivores
griffeys
godzillas

there's a few more that i can't recall at the moment

overall nike's been doing alright with their retros. they've also been very successful in taking lots of money out of my pockets since 2007

Man, my pair of Zoom 95's, the right shoe squeeks and I've hardly worn them. Like the Zoom is popped already or something. So disappointing..

Flightposite Retros were good. All OG colorways, can't argue with that. Nice quality too. I got them all except the Silvers, wish I had those too.

As for my pick, gotta cosign these beasts..
