I’m tore up…I just pulled out my 1993 Jordan’s. Never worn. Paper still inside. Worked at Finish Line at that time. Loved the look. I think $110. I always envisioned showcasing these pristine, never worn shoes one day to friends or whomever… But they’re f****** falling apart! For more than 30 years, I have had them in a cloth bag to protect them. Well, I obviously f***** up. I’m equally pissed and very disappointed. They don’t look good. If I move them at all, there are small pieces falling off. The entire strip on the outside of bottom of shoe has cracked. Any advice on fixing or keeping them from further falling apart?

Unfortunetely, those were gonna fall apart no matter what. So it was not anything you did wrong. The more you flex the shoe, more will fall off. Most likely your not into shoes as much to get a sole swap from the previous release from a year ago. Your situation is common for shoes that age and with that type of material used for the midsole.

Them ****s have definitely been worn, u can see the creases on the toe box.

I’ll never understand people who own a hundred pairs or more and buy multiples of shoes that are known to fall apart if not worn for a long period of time.

There’s only seven days in a week.

This is one reason AJ 1s are the GOAT Js.. Literally never have to worry about them falling apart structurally from age.
