I remember when - What Happened to the Networking Thread?

A few years ago, I started a Networking Thread and I know personally for me and others, it worked wonders for a lot of people in the area getting to know oneanother. I couldn't find it to save my life and since then I am sure many folks have changed Jobs and gone on to bigger and better things.

Purpose of the thread? Network and see who does what and perhaps folks could help one another or use one another's services. Specially with the jobsituation and the economy the way it is. I'll start off.

Live in Virginia...and Im in Marketing and recently Radio.

Looking for anyone in the Auto Parts area... I shooo miss Mikey !!!!

No job now that I'm at school but I'd like a job and apparently my old job is cutting everyone's hours so I'll probably need a new job for theWinter and Summer breaks. During the summer anywhere in MD is cool but as of now it would have to be in the Towson area. Any help would be appreciated.

I just graduate from school in may and still don't have a job. I live in DC, recieved my bachelor of science degree in Business Administration with aconcentration in Marketing along with a Professional Sales certificate.

I've held good internships at William and Connolly LLP and Volvo Trucks North America, unfortunately niether company is hiring, so I am still looking forwork in the area.

Its a Pharmaceutical company...

The warehouse is always hiring for dayshift and nightshift...

As far as the autoparts I haven't had a hook up there since my cuzzo left Neils autoparts on kennilworth Ave...

neukicks, my desktop comp has been consumed with viruses and won't even boot up long enough to reinstall windows.

jus started a demoltion/expediting co, got a couple trucks & a crew that deals w/the demolition and or clean out of forclosed homes and general hauling ofmaterials and general moving. hopefully obtain proper license to legally do general home improvement, ceramic tile,custom painting as a specialty.oh in thebaltimore area. the demo/hauling is hopeully the start of something bigger and legal..........

yea my dude thats what im aiming @..........i have a couple real estate friends kinda gave me the push, specially where im @ in b-more, theres n area called"canton" that has turned into a realestate boom, everywhere brownstones being gutted and retroed out and has brought about business. but i tell ya, idont know what i wanna do from day to day.........my mind races!! i love cutting hair, i love workin on anything with an engine,especially atv's &sportbikes, the home improvement piece........and interest in other things the list goes on. the company i worked for after 5 yrs closed down and pushed 150employees back out lookin' crazy as hell.............i planned n stayin there. nevertheless i jus be prayin to get to where im gonna be, and hopefulllybuild my own empire instead of somebody elses!
