How to remove excessive glue off shoe/nubuck Olive 9's

Hi, i just recently got a second pair of Olive 9's but i noticed that there is noticeable excessive glue towards the toe area. Just wanted to ask on your thoughts on how i can safely remove it without damaging the nubuck. I thought of using a blow dryer to heat up the glue a little then removing it with a tweezer or something. What are your thoughts??? Picture below.
