How to customize the insole of a shoe?

Title says it all-

Been trying to do something for shoe I'm trying to customize, but I have no idea how. I want to get an Iron Man arc reactor on the insole of a shoe. How would I do it so it wouldn't fade, etc..

From what I've heard and read the best way to do this is combine your acrylic paint with a product called golden gac 900. This product is a fabric medium so i assume it allows paint to be more flexible and thin enough to paint all different types of fabrics. you combine it with the paint in a 1:1 ratio. I have never tried to do this but I will pretty soon and il try to give you my feedback
