Maybe when he retires...but so far marketing wise...they will be just like 94' Retro Jordans sitting on shelves.
Consumers wouldnt want an outdated shoe when there are better current shoes, with newer technology.

So in your words there shouldn't be any type of retro, jordan, nike, reebok, converse, adidas, etc.
Well if you look at it from a business standpoint, which Athlete's retros really sell nowadays besides Jordan?Originally Posted by trethousandgt
Yea that doesn't make any sense you realize you posted that in the RETRO sectionOriginally Posted by 3thaman

Guess we won't see AZG's for a while because Lebron isn't winning a championship.Originally Posted by Mister Friendly
If he wins a championship in the next couple of years we'll definitely see the AZGs

I never said there shouldn't be any retro's...re-read it again fam.
The Penny IIs, and IIIs are sitting at outlets across the country...only colorway that sold well was the Orignal Blk/Blue and the hyped Atlantics.
The Griffeys only sold in the Freshwaters and Volt...Hot Reds and all blacks are sitting everywhere.
I mean, the sneakerheads and faithful fans will purchase, but to the regular Joe's its just anotheroverpriced shoe when they could be spending the same amount on a newly developed shoe or the current signature.
Im not saying im against it...but Nike wouldn't do it.
I wouldnt mind some AZGs or some IIs.
Word, i wouldnt mind small limited releases with accessories on the side...but if were talking about full scale GR, its doomed to fail.Originally Posted by d e beatup

All you gotta do is sprinkle Nike's favorite word on it...limited. Dunkman II's as a hypebeast TZ release would be sold out asap. Same shoe as an inline GR flops. I wouldn't mind seeing very limited amounts sold via NDC only, kinda like a LBJ DMP. Select models that were supposed to drop but didn't, like the Laser AZG's, with a matching Tee and Towel (it's Nike, you know how they do) or a COF ZL2 in a Chinese-Lasered Wooden box. Something for the hardcore fans to cop and Nike still make money without it flopping at retail.
