I don't really play in jordans, but have been ballin in the playoff 8s for a few years and love them...i'm needing a new pair and thinking about copping the Altitude or Playoff XIIIs...just curious what people's experience has been with them in terms of comfort and support?

heard the 8's were the best also OP. Get some lebrons or team jordans for balling. (unless u just wanna look pretty on the court??)

I cant stand that mesh upper on the 2010 Altitudes. If you have the cash I would go with the 05 altitude release, otherwise I would choose the Playoffs. XIIIs with leather upers last longer IMO. Mesh upper-ed XIII are ok if you only plan on wearing them for one season and games only. But if you play every day go with the leather XIIIs as they will last much longer.

Depends on whether u prefer soft flexible or stiffer midsoles
Because i personally play better with stiffer soles
Like the 12, 17. The og 13 had the softest
ones.
My favorite jordans for high performance are
10, 14, 17, 19, 20, 21
All very reliable in performance.

6 and 11 retros are disappointing in balling.

just my opinion lol. I love XIs for ball, especially outdoors. I always liked the X for casual use, but thought they were disappointing on court especially on dusty floors.

Really? Hmm my 10 retros performed very well which i didNot expect. The fitting, comfort, grip was all good evenOn a dusty floor, while my 11 retros all suckedIn terms of stability and grip.

my fav retros to ball in are, in this order: X, XIII, XII.

you specifically asked about the XIII. i think it provides great lockdown support and lateral stability. cushioning isn't as good as the XII, though. Xs fit my foot like a glove!

i hoop in my chicago 13's and they got durability but if you are gonna play constantly get you some 19's i got the flint ones and they work wonders and there comfortable still to this day

I play ball in XII's a lot too, and also XVII for the ankle support, but they're way too old to wear now.
I don't trust XIII's one bit, I keep sliding on and off the court using that. In terms of grip and comfortable, go for XII.
But if you would really like to play ball on the XIII, get the last retro of Flint XIII before they came out last year. They're a lot better imo, and the reflective upper is there unlike the recent one.
