How do you color the threads on the dunk midsole ?

How do you color the inside of the shoe ? without having the color rub off on your socks???

any help would be appreciated

you can do the midsole stitching with a VERY fine tipped brush

back in the day I had a "sneaky" way of doin it. I got a gel ink ball point pen, blew out all the gel ink and dropped some thinned down paint in thetube and did the threads that way. I somehow lost the pen though, and could never find a suitable replacement, so I just started doing it with a brush

as for the liner....the few times I did it, I used thinned down fabric paint in an airbrush and heat set it between coats. Not really sure if it ever came offon my socks...I never looked...I dont think it did though
