??how do you Paint on NUBUCK!??

i am about to start a project on a pair of shadow grey Jordan 1's. question: HOW DO YOU PREPARE NUBUCK FOR PAINTING ON? what do i need to do to ensurethe paint will stay? i have experience painting traditional leather, but not on nubuck. PLEASE HELP!!

you dont paint... if anything, you can dye. much more painstaking, and potential for disaster. plus, if the nubuck is a dark color, you need to bleach it ofits color first before re-dying another color
