Hotels in Vancouver?

Can anyone give me a good recommendation for a hotel in Vancouver? Going to be there July 8th - 11th doesn't have to be directly downtown but that would be nice. Any websites you guys can suggest would be a help thanks.

Probably not looking at spending too much, just a decent spot for me and my girl anywhere from the $70 - 100 range would be nice. Only going to be spending 2 nights in Vancouver and probably a night in Whistler.
