Help with finding a shoe

I was in the US in the late 90s maybe early 2000s and I went to a outlet in Michigan called shoe carnival (I'm Ireland btw) and bought a pair of nikes and I cannot figure out the model, as best as I can remeber it was like a presto mixed with a sock dart, no laces but had a gel/rubber cage where the laces should be, any pictures or help with be great thanks
