Help me with customs

I am looking for a guide that shows me how to put stitching back on the sole when i try to put my sneaker back together.

i wanna put colored stitching on the sole where the leather meets the rubber

i would like pictures and tools needed to do this

what im sayign is do i have to cut the stitching to get the leather off? then stitch it back when i put the leather back on?or just glue it
