As a result of the job I work, I have aquired 2 pairs of basketball shoes from a Charlotte Hornets player. Since they're not signed and I don't really have a valid way to prove they're his, I don't see any point in trying to attach the name to them. Anyways, both pairs are size 15 and I was hoping that somebody could help me identify what type of shoes they are and if they have any value.

I know one pair is 'kd's", and I know they're a pretty nice shoe, but I can't find the model that I have online anywhere. Thanks!!!

Hi

Congratulations on receiving two (new) Nike sneakers.

The first shoe is a KD 8 NSW Lifestyle shoe. Looks like a general release shoe Kevin Durant Signature Shoe. You can find them on Footlocker site.

Second is a Nike Foamposite Pro Pure Platinum, another general release shoe.

Normally, NBA players are given their shoes at no cost from Nike. Sometimes, NBA players are given Promo Samples. Just check the shoe label on the inside of the shoe.
If it l doesn't have Promo Sample on it you have a general release shoe.

As such, they are worth the prevailing market price. You can get an idea of the price on Ebay.

Unfortunately, prior ownership by NBA player will not add any value.
