Foot Locker/Champs no longer stock locate nationwide (in store)? Am I late?

Tried to order a pair of royal Foams, copper Foams and KD 17 Aunt Pearl yesterday. Had a no receipt exchange so needed to get something in store. They had all 3 shoes, but not in my size. Two different associates told me none of the shoes were available in my area in my size. I said yes, that’s ok…..are you checking nationwide? I don’t mind them being shipped to me. They both looked mad confused. They kept giving me the same answer…..even after I asked if this is new policy or am I late to the party?

Hit up a friend who works security for a local FTL and he said he believes they only do local store locate and then just ship from a warehouse….so if the warehouse doesn’t have your size, you are not getting it. I added that I wonder if this has something to do with the GOAT partnership?

Disappointed because I know there is a sz 11 copper Foam or sz 11.5 Aunt Pearl floating around in some store somewhere in the US.

I thought it was just for the holidays. Because of the inevitable traffic. But yeah when you stockmociste an item an associate told me nothing will come up. Guess this is the thing going forward or it’s in testing mode.
