+ Fall 2009 Retro's: Medicine Ball ATIII's, Ultramine 180's, etc. +

Our Nike rep came in today, and brought a grip of samples of shoes that are dropping in thefall of 2009. The first shoe that grabbed my attention right away were the infamous "Medicine Ball" Air Trainer III's. I've never owned apair of the OG's myself nor have I held an original pair, but judging from other people's pictures, these seemed to be pretty true to the originals. The color placement is on point from what I can remember, and the quality wasn't too shabby. I'm sure it isn't up to par with the quality on theoriginals, but that usually goes without saying with Nike nowadays.

Next were the Ultramine 180's. I believe someone mentioned these were dropping, and I can confirmthat. The rep didn't have a sample with her, so I'm not sure how the color/quality was in person.

Also, I saw a quick glimpse of these in the fall 2009 catalog as well(not my picture and not a picture ofthe retro's):

Unfortunately I wasn't able to take pictures, but I'll see if I can get a catalogscan or something.

*Side note* The rep was wearing a sample pair of the "Safety Orange" AM95 retro's that drop next year, and I must say they are pretty nice inperson.

Just sold my 2000 retro Med Balls this Fall. Interesting to sell the change in this retro from 2000 to 2009. Hopefully it isn't as bad as the change inthe AT1 retro from 2000 to 2009.

its funny but the OG's plastic forefoot and heel area was actually white. In the 2000 retros and 2009s, there that faded white color. I cant complainbecause thats all i know. but they probably had some yellowed OGs lying around and went from there. Nike amazes me sometimes with the lack of detail
