evisu - legit check

I just bought these and was disappointed to see that they aren't selvedge. I thought all evisu jeans were selvedge. Other than that - the denim is nice, stitching & embroidery is great, and rivets all look nice (seagull logo on back of rivet = inside of leg).

I'm not too familiar with these - if you say fake, please point out the problems. The auction still has pretty nice photos up - I can provide higher res photos if needed.

i think those are fakes. from my knowledge most evisu's are supposed to be selvedge with little to no exceptions. the indigo on those look kinda weird also...and I really do believe the leather patch is actually supposed to say the Lot and Size instead of being blank.

What about this 2nd pair? - the one with white & beige embroidery? - fake too?

I was doing some more reading about evisu the past couple days and it seems like they do make non-selvedge jeans. Anybody have more specific information on that? One of the biggest problems on the 2nd pair seems to be the plain rivets on the inside of the jeans... Dang - these counterfeiters are getting good.

... and seagull on inside. wow - nice detail for fakes. i think the edges of these rivets are too rounded from the authentic pictures i saw. maybe somebody can post more details on that.

tag border stitching doesn't cover patch design. lot, lot number, size, and size number are all the same color - might be OK. aparently there are A LOT of authentic patch variants out there.
