Good afternoon everyone,
I am using the Seaglow/Rit method to dye my Snakeskin soles red, and it is turning out much darker than I had anticipated (dark scarlet, almost bordering on purple). I put 1/4 cup of water, half a packet of Rit dye, and about 1/4 bottle of Seaglow into the mixing cup. Where did I go wrong? Any help/advice would be appreciate, as this is my first custom and am very much trying to learn as much as I can from people who know much more than I do. Thanks.
