It's 48 (L) but it's pretty big. What do the 48 and the L mean?

What's your height and weight? 48L is a pretty large size, maybe you need to size down.  It will have some effect on the length too.

Went back to a regular collar and wore a slimmer tie today. Shirt is still big but no worries.
Whole fit. Again, please excuse the bathroom shot. It's the only big mirror I can use.

I like the shirt.  CT has limited options in the tailored fit but you should look into that or have the sides taken in.  I think your sleeves are a little too long as well.

Happysocks quality is super crap though. I bought several pairs before and they faded within 2-3 washes. I really liked the patterns, but man..quality control needs to be increased.

True (I think 2-3 washes is an exaggeration).  I ordered 4 pairs last week for like $14 though, I don't plan on wearing them frequently.

2-3 washes is not really exaggerating. They started to pile up severely and faded badly. None of my other socks did this, and my other socks are just on sale stuff I get from J. Crew and BR. I got them from Gilt so I'm not sure if they were seconds or not, however.

PS Gilt has a decent clearance sale. I bought 3 shirts and total with shipping was a little under $100. The downfall of course is that all sales are final.

Wore these Allen Edmonds Clifton's to work for the past two days. I didn't break them in well enough before wearing them though so as a result my feet were killing me last night I wore these A.P.C. Suede Tennis Shoes for the first time today to give my feet a break. Pictures don't do these justice they are so much better in person. The suede is a very dark, rich black and the soles are the same color as my pants. It looks very nice. Plus the quality and comfort on these

You gotta take it easy sometimes with dress/casual shoes, man. There's been a few pairs that gave me blisters before due to not breaking in properly. I usually wear them for short periods for the first 3-4 times until they are broken in before I do a whole day in them.
