Customizing leather shoes

I just started customizing shoes, canvas, a couple months ago and im beginning to transition to shoes with different materials such as leather, nubuck, plastic,etc. and I was just looking for some tips on how to be successful with that.

Im trying on some 5 next week. I guess just preparation , proper masking and deglazing the leather. Also im using airbrush so proper mixture of paint.... I have been doing midsole restoration for sometime now with my shoes, but would love to try some custom shoes... Good luck

Thanks and I had a question about restoring shoes as well because I wanted to get into that as well, but exactly how do you go about restoring shoes, particularly the midsole.

Preperation is the key... 3m blue tape works good for me, a good airbrush or just paint brush works to. And thin and even strokes. So many youtube video to check for restoration. Good luck....... Don't worry if you mess up, everybody has to go through it.. Its called trial and error.
