Custom Penny II's (Did 'em last weekend)

Check out my Custom Penny II's. I don't know why I buy all white basketball shoes (they're always HUGE) but got the inspiration to spice 'em up a bit while sitting in a painfully boring meeting at work. Used pure acetone to treat the leather beforehand *just rubbed it on where I was planning on painting then used 3-4 coats of Angelus Acrylic paint...no masking just a lot of patience. I think they came out pretty damn good...

Not sure what you mean by the lace loops...you mean the ones on the very bottom? Honestly I'm scared to screw them up. I guess I could do it if I masked it off better...

At first I didn't like them.. But after looking at the pictures a few more times, they're dope as hell

not bad. seems unfinished. i'd put some black or blue laces on them. and maybe fill in the circle around the penny logo (either blue or black, as well)

thanks for all the comments. i am definitely partial to simple design and love almost all things black and white.

dimsum1 - do you have any idea where i could get black or blue penny laces? i have the HARDEST time trying to find penny laces with the same length/girth as those that nike provide...

jayzrdead - i don't think i'm gonna risk it unless you have a better idea. after taking a very close look at the lace loops...they're just too close to the white piping. masking tape won't hold there (tried it). one slip while holding that loop up and they'd be done....do you have any other ideas on how i could get it done, because, they really do feel kind of 'incomplete' without it done.
