I'm putting on the second coat of dye to the stitching right now so they will look factory fresh with no hint of "ZEST" (yellow) .

Thanks for the comments. It was quick and easy to do. And these XI lows are selling cheap so I suggest you pick up and pair and give it a try.

As for red.... If I dyed the inside of the tongue red it would bleed all over my socks and I dont want that. As for the jumpman being red. I'd like to, but I dont want a red jumpman with a yellow inside lining.

Anyway I already have two pairs of black/red XI lows so I don't need to turn these into those since I already have the real thing.

I used KIWI brand black leather dye. You can buy it for $3.00 at the supermarket. Then I used a small pointed soft bristle paint brush and applied it slowly so the dye would soak into the entire stitch.
