What up Niketalk,
I was just wondering because i purchased a pair of shoes from Footlocker a few weeks ago however i have to take them back this week because i need for them tobe a half size larger. I ordered a Air Jordan DMP 1 set from Shoetrends in mens size 13 but i need a mens size 10 so i wanted to ask if any store wouldpossibly exchange for that size if it is still available. I may just sell them though, thats probably the easiest way to go.
I heard of a few people doing this before however i just wanted to ask NT before i go to the mall looking foolish with this huge %@* box

^That is true, i was just thinking the same thing before i came back to this website.
Mods you can lock this joint up, thats all that i needed to hear from STARZ.
Thank you

you could probably pull it off at a champs or footlocker maybe even a nordstroms. just say you got it as a present and someone got you the wrong size.

I would definitely go this route......call your local FTL or Champs and ask for a manager before heading down to the store. Say your girl or mombought it for you and lost the receipt....if the manager is cool it shouldn't be a big deal because you are only looking for an exchange

just hit up the stores and ask

it wont work at champs for sure though, ive made it happen at both footlocker and athletes foot though

Depends on your store...I've gotten shoes on Ebay for cheap and returned them at FA for full price...obviously they won't give you cash but they willgive you store credit.

Yeah, i called around however theres not too many shoe spots around me and none of the stores had mens size 10 but everything else was available.

nah...they actually have some nice...they are probably the only store that i've seen that carry mitchell and ness stuff

Here we go, i knew that size question was going to pop up.
Thank you Rookie, thank you lol!
It was the only size available at the time so i purchased it for below retail, i wont do that again.
Lesson learned.

Ok, i just found a finishline close by that has my size available so i will try this today and see if it works.
Hopefully it does however i havent heard anything about Finishline doing this so let me call back...

Didn't work for me. Bought something off NDC with a voucher, didn't like the fit so I called my local Footlocker and told them I got them as a gift anddidn't like them. Footlocker said it was cool and to come in. But when I was ready to do an exchange, they scanned the shoes and said, "Theseweren't purchased at a Footlocker." Maybe the shoes off NDC have a special barcode from outside retailers and it might be easier to swap going fromone outside retailer to another, but it didn't work in my case. Give it a shot. It's not like they'll arrest you.

dont dress like a sneakerhead when you go and theyre more likely to believe you

Not gonna work, all the newer shoes from footlocker/footaction/champs have a sticker on the top of the box that says their stores initial and the sku, so theyknow if it was actually bought from them or not.

You can as a matter of fact. I got some from eastbay and exchanged them for a smaller size at finishline. Just say you got them as a gift and don't havethe receipt but you need a smaller size. It should work with returns too as long as they don't have stickers from other stores on them. You will getinstore credit if its just a return though

of course you can. i've done it plenty of times. as long as the store carry's that shoe it

should be alright

try nike outlets or niketown. my brother returned some shoes he bought from ross and he got even more store credit than which he bought it for.

Ok, im going to try it @ Finishline in a few hours.
I will keep everyone posted on how it went and yeah i was thinking about just keeping my dress clothes on to go in the store to see if they believe me more.
