The econmoy is terrible to get a stable full time salary paying job. With that being said we are in a recession and money is a big thing right now so take the best offer and go with it. Factor in everything when you weigh the decision such as cost of moving, living situation, food etc. Seeing that you are in GA its best to stay to receive Hope scholarship. It helps out ALOT. Added with scholarships you will be good to go. I would try not to take student loans if possible, but network as much as possible while you are there it will help out in the long team.
If your thinking of school for fun then don't waste your time. College will have its time of fun, but stay focused if you want to be sucessful in this economic crisis. You should hopefully be coming out into a bigger market, but who knows what it will be like. A bigger school is fun with all the things to do, but its harder to build a strong connection with people. I picked a smaller school only because I wanted to know people as I walked the campus and I liked the smaller classes. I went to Valdosta State University and ended up with a 3.8 in undergrad and 4.0 in masters. If very fun yes, I had tons of time to do intramural every year all-year round. Everything from Flag football, softball, volleyball, to soccer. I went to the bars, parties, frat houses. everything and I just had to learn how to manage my time. So go and have fun but remember that your future could heavily rely upon it.
