Can older SB's have any flaws while wearing them like Air Jordans

Hey guys, I been collecting shoes for 10 years now and I am now embracing in starting a SB collection. Majority of my collection are Jordan's and after the powder blue 10 release there is nothing else I will want for a while so i decided to collect on SB'S. Some of the ones I want are close to 10 years old and my question is can you wear these shoes being DS condition with their age. Also if there are some flaws,  what should I look out for if anything.
