Good Day Niketalk. My son asked me about who was my favorite college basketball team when I was growing up. I would love to explain to him the importance of the Fab Five to college basketball. If you can provide any pictures,articles or info on them it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if Nike ever plans on retroing the Air Maestro's worn by the Fab Five (image is included in the thread above). They are one of my favorit shoes of all time.

Edit : Forgot to mention that they didn't wear the air maestros in the championship game they wore the force max b's.

I appreciate the link, I own a pair of the Air force Max...but I am asking about the maestro's. I owned a pair of air maestro's (1st pair to drop...not the pippens) and loved em.

This might help, but there was a book written about the Fab Five and their story on how they ended up at the UofM. It is called Fab Five and was written by Mitch Albom who wrote for the Detroit Free Press. I bought the book during the mid 90s and loved it. This book would give you much insight into the Fab Five.
