Hey everyone,
First off. I need to come out and say NT has been there with me from day 1 and I wouldn't be able to make this post without this forum. Nuff' said.
Those familiar with me or my work may have noticed that about two years ago I stopped being an active member of this forum for various reasons. Nonetheless, I have continued to browse this specific forum at least twice a day and still have great interest and passion in custom sneakers.
Any who, I decided with some free time now on my hands to create a re-cap post of what I have been up to custom sneaker wise during this time period. While I haven't fully quit, my production and drive has dropped from where it once was, but is slowly picking back up with the summer. Enough words, more pictures To my knowledge, I have not posted any of this, but I am sure it may be old news to some people...

NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly
For those unfamiliar with this story, I was contacted by a director at NBC from Carson Daly's Last Call in August of 09'. I got my grind on and was able to make a weekend trip from school in Minneapolis to Chicago to shoot this piece at Leaders. The whole experience was great - everyone involved was nothing less than classy and the publicity was unmatched.
Apple's Education Leadership Summit: "The Sneaker Artists"
This was by far the most incredible thing I have ever been a part of as a result of painting sneakers and I feel extremely blessed to have this experience. Long story short, Apple chose me as a feature student and guest speaker on a student panel for their Education Leadership Summit in Dallas last April. Along with 5 other student stories, Apple framed a HUGE event (think multimillion dollar project...this is Apple's biggest event behind their annual MacWorld conference) based around challenge based learning. Deans, superintendents, and presidents of school districts and universities across the globe attended by invite only. Guest speakers included the student panel, Malcolm Gladwell, John Couch (VP of Apple Education), Karen Cator (Head of Tech. Education at the White House), and many others.
To preface the student panel, Apple created videos for each student story. Due to contractual agreements, I am not allowed to publicly share the video, so I provided a few screen shots below.
Long story short, I was treated like a rockstar throughout the entire process. Made some serious connections (including Tim Cook, COO of Apple and a member of the Board of Directors at Nike) and had some great food and fun.

I believe that's all I have for now. Feel free to respond or PM with and love, hate, comments, or questions. I'd love to field them all. Be on the look out for some new customer orders to be posted soon.
