Trailer is supposed be to up late Tuesday night.
I, for one, am pretty jazzed about this game. Think it could be a real hit on Next Gen, as it will be the first time we get the full 64 player experience on consoles. BF3 on PC was the best shooter this generation. I think BF4 will be even better.
What say you, NT?

Rumors:
Lasgana: BF4
Lasgana: Coming October 23rd, 2013
Lasgana: development just started, expected to be done in 1 yr [Nirolak's Note: Since this is the one likely to elicit the most "this is fake" notes, I feel I should elaborate. Given some later points (like already have an internal demo), this seems to refer to EA's normal two year development cycle of a one year pre-production cycle with ~30-40 people and then ballooning up to 150-300 people to make the game after most things are prototyped and planned out. Visceral, BioWare, and a fair number of publishers outside EA also operate this way since it allows you to have multiple projects without cyclical layoffs due to scaling down in pre-production and scaling up in production. For example, during the downtime between Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3, DICE's spare staff worked on making Medal of Honor's multiplayer and helping to build Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. As to what the bulk of DICE's staff worked on prior to this going into production, it's probably either a second project or, once again, other EA games.]

http://hypeup.net/index.php/site/ne..._reveals_dynamic_weather_frostbite_2.5_engineBattlefield 4 will run on the new Frostbite 2.5 engine, which is a complete overhaul of Frostbite 2.0. The new engine will be Direct X 11 only on PC, and enables many new features. One of the biggest ones which has been hinted at in the teaser images with all the rain, is dynamic weather. Things like rain, sandstorms, fog, haze, and snow can now be generated completely randomly during gameplay. Destruction will also be getting an upgrade bringing Battlefield 4 more in line with the levels of destruction seen in Bad Company 2, in which you could blow holes in walls if you needed a door, and all buildings could be completely leveled by the end of a match. Many fans were upset that Battlefield 3 had only some destructible environments, while many of the buildings couldn't be taken down. It seems DICE aims to fix this complaint in BF4.
