Who remembers these brands growing up in the late 80's early 90's? I came from a frist generation immigrant family. Jordan definitely had a profound effect on many kids growing up in the late 80's and 90's. I remember wanting shoes like MJ but knew my parents couldn't afford to buy me J's so we resorted to buying Payless shoes. I remember having a pair of Attack Force that looked like the Jordan VIIIs (straps and all) and went to school so proud of them. It all changed when when I got a summer job in 1998. The first thing I did was bought myself a pair of the Black/White/Red XIVs and North Carolina blue XIV low. Since then I've gone crazy with it. Anyway, I just wanted to show my appreciation for brands like these. I hope kids whose parents cannot afford to buy them to most expensive stuff can use that as a motivation to do well in life and spoil themselves later!
