Article Exposing Lil Romeo

I go to school with the kid and knew he was trash, and I have posted some things in previous threads about him, but I have been waiting for someone to figureit out. One of my boys just sent me this article which pretty much explains that the whole scholarship deal is a joke. Demar Derozan wanted to go to the same school with his friend Lil Romeo.

i'm pretty sure everybody already knew why Romeo was going to USC...

but did anyone else get the feeling that Derozan was only friends with Romeo in the first place because he was rich? it wasnt like they grew up together oranything. he basically met him when they were around 12, which was pretty much the height of Romeo's popularity. dude probably figured he would pull moregirls and have more fun hanging around Romeo. i wouldnt have turned it down either.

but like i been saying, not that i'm a fan of the dude or anything, but i just wanna see what you dudes will say if Romeo gets to USC and actually gets PTand contributes

Meh - what's it really matter? College sports are a business, and this obviously seems like a business strategy moreso than anything else.

If this Derozan jumps for the NBA or something after freshmen year, don't be surprised to see Romeo getting his scholly revoked over some BS or something

That's almost as big of a joke as his bball game.....fool has 2 friends at our school and he pays them both. All the girls at our school know hesretarded. Plus as a bonus he rocks fake kicks. Usually he rolls in a brand new blank benz, but he's driven a yellow lambo once or twice. The is also a brand new cadillac that his brother drives. Thenhis bodyguards usually roll in a Mercedes SUV.

hell yeah it was... at age 12, i had nothing but girls, video games, and the NBA on my mind, and i wasn't getting any of those as much as i wanted.Romeo's life was basically surrounded with that.

you're lying to yourself if you say you wouldnt have tried to be his friend. go over to a huge house every day, eat whatever you want, play all thevideogames your mom refuses to pay for, sit courtside at NBA games, hang around famous celeb friends of Master P and Romeo, swim in the huge pool, get it inwith the girlies that follow Romeo around... yeahhh thats basically the life right there, especially for a kid coming from Compton.

Rumor around our school is that his dad is also droppin a MAJOR donation, i'm talking millions. So the scholarship is just to keep up a fake reputation hecan definitely pay. Also to the dude who asked for a more credible source, i'm pretty much vouching for the article. Even the article isn't the fulltruth though. The whole knee injury is fake, here is the true story:

Master P goes and sits at every single game and yell at our schools coach when he doesn't like what he is doing. So he felt like Romeo and his crew,composed of a couple kids on the bball team who practically live at his house and get free hand me down clothes, weren't getting enough PT. His responsewas getting Romeo and the crew to sit out of games until the coach was fired, thinking they had that type of power. They sat out for 4 games and the responsewas that 1 kid got kicked out of the district when they found out he didn't live in the district he lived at Romeo's house. The rest all gave up andtried to come back resulting in a 4 game suspension. During this time Romeo's cover for media or w.e was that he had a season ending knee injury. The funnypart is after the suspension the "injury" went away and he tried to play 1 game. He got basically no PT, cuz the coach hates him, and for the rest ofthe year he did not even attempt to play. Never showed up at practices and only a couple of the games. Take the story for what its worth, but I am friends witha group of kids on the team and its true.
