Anybody ever considered moving away from the Tri-State/Northeast area?

i'm currently in Long Island (******* hate it here.) born and raised out here but i have been thinking about moving around the Tri-State area or just flat out head down south but leaning towards heading down south. i'm trying to go to Texas probably to Dallas or Houston, got family in Houston too. i'm just tired of New York and need something new.

Was thinking of. moving to FL after this past winter feeling like -10 out fml. Houses seem cheap too.

I'd miss the seasons tho, my kids spending time with their cousins really got me tear jerking. Lol

I'm in NJ tho and love my state unless if there's snow lingering for 1month straight.
