Any good sport pubs downtown Toronto?

Preferably in the john/richmond area. Me and my friends are going clubbing that night for my bday, but we wanted to catch the dunk contest and drink a bitbefore the club. So walking distance would be good

Wayne Gretzky's is always good. Its like three or four blocks south one block west of John/Richmond. Its a 10 min walk, max. I think there is a hootersright a J&R. There is a lot around the area anyway, so you won't be hard pressed to find something.
