Personally I dislike Tate because his rhetoric is extremely over the top, ridiculous and nothing more than an obvious grift exploiting young lonely men.
He also knows exactly what to say to get the people on the left riled up to respond to him and the hate they throw his way in turn makes him even bigger. I think that is what

I understood the push to de-platform dude, I also understand why people want him locked up and if he indeed did what these allegations are claiming I hope he is. HOWEVER IF HE'S FOUND INNOCENT congrats they just made dude even bigger than before. But that still doesn't fix the issue that allows an individual like Tate to exist.
