Airbrush Vs Acrylic Custom Paintjobs. Also, how are shoes painted at the factory?!

Which one is more durable? I know its easier to layer and apply the airbrush, but which one would be more likely to be durable while wearing the customs?

How is the factory paint so durable?!

I think it might vary on what kind of paint is being used and on what type of surface or material. Waterbased paints would forsure rub off.
