Not long Sneaker News reported an upcoming Air Jordan 6-17 hybridthat looked exactly like the shoe name suggested – an Air Jordan VImashed together with an XVII. Another Spring 2011 Jordan Brand hybridyou can expect is the Air Jordan Prime 5, which can be described as anAir Jordan 1/Air Jordan Alpha 1fused together with the Air Jordan V. The Air Jordan Prime 5 utilizesthe silhouette of the Air Jordan 1/Alpha 1 but featured the nettingfrom the AJV on the center panel. The toe box, heel, and upper laceplacket also take after the Air Jordan V,while the tongue looks to be a silver 3M material. A look at thepreliminary images will show you that this 1+5 hybrid is a lot moresubtle than the 6+17 hybrid, but both the AJ1 and AJV are wellrepresented in the shoe. This fusion idea has gotten out of hand. JB is just mixing anything nowadays. The shoe is straight ridiculous even though this is a smooth mix (done nicely neither shoe overplays the other).
Just stick to retros, an new team jordans.
