adidas superstar custom question

i was thinking about doing a lite custom job on a pair of ostrich superstars to take em from this

to this

i dont know if it shows up all that good, but on the second pair the shell toe and midsole are a cream/bone/vintage color. im pretty sure that paint won't work for the rubber so i was thinking about using iodine, either straight up or diluted. any thoughts on that or other suggestions?

so what your trying to do is get that creamy kind of white color thats on the sole, on the first pair ?
