so after all that premature nuttin' over Mac Jones in mini camp, walkthrus, and padless practices....the first padded practice of the year brought him right back down to earth. supposedly he looked awful and was getting chewed out by Josh

it's expected for sure and he'll be fine, but this whole time i was surprised people were ooh'ing and ahh'ing about him in those glorified walk thru practice sessions

oh get ready for 'em...i think he still had some of the drops last year but got so many looks that he still had a great year

hopefully Cam/Jones can get some chemistry going with Harry/Bourne/Smith. eager to see what Nixon can do as well. I assume it's gonna be run heavy tonight tho

entire training camp i seen his name in every parentheses after it said a QB had a drop.

just off the top on Mac tonight (and don't construe this as i'm floored or totally wow'd)....

1) quick with where to go with the ball
2) pretty accurate (nice touch, puts the ball in a good spot for the receiver)
3) did well with anticipating...ball was out at least twice before the receivers came outta their breaks

won't be surprised if after the "experts" review the film, im wrong on all of the above tho
