Why would you keep the 1X? I think I heard/read that the new Xbox might be backward compatible with older Xbox.

I'm probably keeping my old Xbox for the entertain aspects and keep it in the basement, and have the new one on my main TV

Tbh I haven’t played the last Halo or Gears 4/5. Would like something new franchise-wise this gen, but it seems like exclusives will be a much bigger focus this gen for Xbox. Excited to see what comes from Double Fine and Ninja Theory. Need a Forza Horizon to be a drop date game.

I’m trading in my X1 if the deals are right. I was showing it to my wife and the improvements and she was actually all for me getting it. I just got my X1 holiday 2018 so it’s still good to go.

Hmmm that's one ugly console, but I might just stick with Xbox... it all depends on the exclusive games to me because I'm not buying both systems.

For the Series X that's not bad, but for an Xbox One S that's more than double what the system costs.

Series X - $24 x 24 = $576
One S - $23 x 24 = $552
One S Digital - $20 x 24 = $480

Also, that's sort of like a threshold of what the Series X will cost which might be $500.
