Does anyone know why the underneath front sole of these shoes is not grey? Looks light brown to me. Is it beacause they are old and the grey has faded or stained?

Im in perth western australia and its so hard to hunt down retro jordans. Only options are ebay,goat,stock x or the retail shop websites you guys have in the US.
Pretty much only one retailer stocks them over here.
And the ones they have are just the run of the mill releases.
And this is the only platform i can get info on nike retros.
Im new to the game.
So stoked you all could help.
