***Official Political Discussion Thread***

I'm depressed that this is being treated like a sports even of some sort. We lose no matter what.

Romney is worse though

I'm going to have to leave this here. Its one of the most eye opening things I've seen all year. All documentaries have bias, but I hope it inspires people to start doing research and to learn about the nuances of the arguments themselves.

Today is Romney's only shot. He has to make a case for how he will fix the economy.

Awesome video. I always knew the debates were heavily orchestrated. But I never knew it was that bad. Thanks for posting. Repped.

So he pulled the Ohio card out the bag this early? We don't believe you!

Obama dodged the question lol, not a good start for either imo

Bunch of question dodging, that's what the presidential debate is.

The most important part about debates to the common American people is swagger and confidence. It's sad to say.

Romney looks pretty good so far tho, he seems passionate.

Romney literally just said he wants to lower tax rates on corporations. You deserve what you get voting for him

And I do agree he looks like he's winning. Obama looks condescending again

Word...I wish we had a debate format, where the debate does not continue until you answer the question posed to you.

If that means you have to be asked 5 times and waste 8 minutes...then so be it.

I swear...people really don't understand how politicians create jobs or how they influence the economy.

Obama has NO control over gas prices.

Very early in the debate but Romney is out to the early lead.

Romney talking about catching the Chinese when they cheat?

“according to government documents . . . Romney, when he was in charge of Bain [Capital], invested heavily in a Chinese manufacturing company that depended on US outsourcing for its profits—and that explicitly stated that such outsourcing was crucial to its success.”

Oh, okay.
